My role at RBBC: Director of Children's Choirs, Senior Adult Choir and Handbell Choir. To assist the Music Ministry and the other ministries of our church in helping people come to a closer relationship with the Lord. To help young children up to Senior Adults enjoy expressing praise and worship of the Lord through music and to encourage them to become lifelong worshippers. To let God's love shine in the songs I sing and play in Kidz Praiz, Prime Time Singers, Praise Ringers, and at the keyboard.
Personal Story: I received Christ just before my 10th birthday. I grew up in a Christian home as a "preacher's kid" who was at the church just about every time the door was open. As a high school student and college student, I accompanied our youth choir. While a college student, I served as a summer missionary in Baltimore with the Home Mission Board. After college graduation, I was a piano instructor at Houghton College in Houghton, New York before feeling led by the Lord into church music.
Favorite book of the Bible: Psalms
Most fulfilling part of ministry: Seeing young adults that I taught in children's choirs and now their children participating in our music ministry and other ministries of the church.
Spiritual gifts: Music, Faith, Leadership
How can you pray for me? That I will continue to have the energy and the creativity to continue this ministry and to follow the Lord's leadership.
